Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Guide for a luxury travel company based in Hoedspruit. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead private game drives into the iconic Kruger National Park providing guests with personalised and unforgettable wildlife experiences.
The ideal candidate will be confident professional and passionate about the bush with a strong focus on guest engagement and safety. This role requires someone who can offer insightful and educational experiences while maintaining a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct private guided game drives in the Kruger National Park
Operate and maintain the game viewing vehicle to a professional standard
Deliver informative and engaging safari experiences tailored to each guest
Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests throughout their safari
Provide knowledge on wildlife flora fauna conservation and local culture
Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
Perform pre-drive checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and functionality
Requirements:
Valid South African Driver s Licence with PDP
FGASA Level 1 (minimum) with up-to-date first aid certification
DEAT/THETA Registered for guiding in the Kruger National Park
Previous guiding experience preferably in Kruger or similar big game reserves
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-presented punctual and guest-focused
Knowledge of the Greater Kruger area and surrounding regions an advantage
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
