The role
Are you passionate about sharing Aboriginal culture and history with diverse audiences As an Aboriginal Education Guide youll deliver engaging cultural tours and curriculum-linked education programs to students from kindergarten through to tertiary level as well as the general public. Youll help bring the stories of the area to life through an Aboriginal lens creating memorable learning experiences across Sydneys iconic precincts.
This role is ideal for someone who communicates well with people of all ages and backgrounds and who thrives in a dynamic face-to-face environment. Youll be responsible for presenting programs maintaining cultural protocols supporting program administration and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery. Flexibility enthusiasm and a genuine interest in education and culture are key.
You must be available to work weekends and public holidays when required. A minimum 3-day availability per week is required. Weekend availability is requested.
