Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Camp Manager to join a luxury private wildlife reserve located in the breathtaking Kalahari. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on and service-driven individual looking to immerse themselves in an exclusive safari setting while managing the day-to-day operations of a high-end camp.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the camp ensuring seamless guest experiences
Manage and support staff across all departments to maintain high standards of service
Uphold and implement health and safety protocols throughout the property
Coordinate and manage guest arrivals departures and in-house activities
Maintain strong communication with Head Office and senior management
Manage stock levels ordering and general camp administration
Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members
Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar camp or lodge management role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Sound knowledge of hospitality and guest service operations
Comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment
A passion for nature wildlife and conservation
Strong administrative and computer literacy skills
This is a live-in position offering a unique opportunity to work in one of South Africa s most remote and beautiful wilderness areas.
