Job Description
A great opportunity exists for an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to join a forward-thinking DevOps team supporting the development and maintenance of large-scale enterprise ordering applications. This is a hands-on role ideal for junior developers eager to build solutions grow technical depth and gain exposure to cloud-native technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and support of backend and frontend applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and story refinement.
Support messaging integration using Kafka and JMS.
Collaborate with team members to deliver solutions on AWS infrastructure.
Engage with end users to understand requirements and translate them into functional features.
Contribute to testing troubleshooting and quality assurance tasks.
Maintain technical documentation as per ISO standards.
Provide after-hours support as per standby rotation schedule.
Share knowledge proactively within and across teams.
Minimum Requirements
IT Degree or Diploma.
1 2 years of experience in Java (Spring) development.
Familiarity with Angular Kafka JMS SQL (Oracle/Postgres) and AWS.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured Agile setup.
Advantageous Skills
Experience with RESTful and SOAP services.
Microservices design and development.
CI/CD tools such as Git Maven Docker and GitHub.
Jira and Confluence experience.
Exposure to unit and integration testing frameworks.
Angular, Kafka, JMS, SQL (Oracle/Postgres), and AWS
