Description

A well-established leader in the water storage solutions industry is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant and Key Account Manager to join their team in Maxmead Durban. This exciting role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for client engagement and business development. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing key accounts building lasting client relationships and driving revenue growth in competitive technical sales environments. Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the commercial and construction sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling site visits and client referrals.
  • Develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and service excellence.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales proposals tenders and quotations.
  • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities and targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products market trends and competitor activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or account management preferably in the water tank construction or commercial water storage industries.
  • Proven ability to manage key client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications.
  • Excellent time management organisational and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel when required.
