Our client is a company specialized in financial services who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers creating an environment that encourages ownership continuous learning and strong collaboration.
Drive Technical Quality: Ensure engineering excellence by promoting robust architecture clean code secure development practices and scalable system design.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Design and Business teams to shape the roadmap and deliver innovative user-centered solutions.
Ensure Data Security & Integrity: Integrate best practices for maintaining data privacy security and accuracy across all systems and processes.
Optimize Performance: Identify and solve technical issues that affect performance quality and operations to ensure system reliability.
Oversee Project Execution: Manage timelines priorities and resource allocation effectively using Agile methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate External Integrations: Work with third-party vendors and strategic partners to align development efforts deliverables and integration success.
Build a Strong Team: Recruit retain and nurture top engineering talent that aligns with Company s culture and long-term goals.
Requirements
Must have qualifications
A Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Over 6 years of hands-on experience in software development including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.
Proven expertise in designing distributed systems APIs and database structures.
Strong grasp of security best practices in both application development and data management.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines container orchestration using Kubernetes and cloud platforms preferably AWS.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional engineering initiatives with clear measurable results.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead teams and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with data platforms AI/ML solutions MLOps or automation technologies.
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and compliance standards such as ISO 27001.
Understanding of mobile app development and deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms.
Background in the Java ecosystem particularly with Spring Boot and related frameworks; experience in writing code and participating in technical code reviews is a strong plus.
