Job Description
- Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects.
- Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget.
- Liaise with other engineering disciplines and support departments to ensure alignment.
- Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment.
- Develop communication design for control systems and data networks.
- Develop the control system design for the project including control narratives and supporting documents for control and shutdown systems
Requirements
- At least 6 years of specific C&I design experience with a minimum of 4 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
- Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards.
- Good communication skills
- Strong client liaison skills
- Design experience in:
- Smartplant instrumentation
- Wiring and loop design
- Selection of instrument technologies
At least 6 years of specific C&I design experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the Oil & Gas environment. Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards.
Education
The candidate must possess a BSc / . in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
