This Position reports to:
Quality Control ManagerYour role and responsibilities:
In this role you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit including quality culture systems tools and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceeding customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention continuous improvement robust root cause analysis quick response and sustainable solution to problems. Collaborate with local functions that impact on the quality results in order to reach the targets for the organizational unit.

This role is contributing to the Smart Power business in the Quality center based in Vignate (MI).
You will be mainly accountable for:
Promoting and supportingthe deployment of the local Quality and Operational Excellence (Q&OpEx) strategy to accelerate improvement and drive cost savings.
Establishing and implementingQ&OpEx priorities and targets in collaboration with cross-functional teams while monitoring progress and addressing deviations.
Training and coachinglocal teams in standard quality improvement methods to build continuous improvement capabilities.
Conducting benchmarking and sharing best practicesto foster a culture of operational excellence.
Assisting with creating and implementingstandardized instructions and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of customer requirements.
Promoting the Voice of the Customerand ensuring risks and solutions are evaluated from the customer/stakeholder perspective.
Qualifications for the role:
You hold a Technical Diploma: Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical.
Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
You have interest in developing you career in quality area.
Brief experience in assembly wiring and/or fabrication would considered a plus.
Driving license type B and availability for annual short trips on national territory in ABB production plants.
Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel word and web applications.
Good written and communication skills in italian and english team working Initiative flexibility and attention to detail.
