QC Senior Microbiologist - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Your new role
The role of the Senior QC Microbiologist EML is to provide technical expertise on all microbiological topics within EML to the Microbiology team. To act as subject matter expert point to all within EML. Also have the ability to test all materials/facility for microbiological contamination according to agreed specifications and procedures and within agreed lead times as required. This role reports into the QC Microbiology & Stability Progammes Manager.
What are we looking for
- Degree in Microbiology or related scientific discipline
- Demonstrated experience acting as a Senior Microbiological role within a QC Pharmaceutical Microbiology Laboratory
- Excellent technical knowledge of Microbiological testing techniques e.g. water testing microbial limit testing and identification techniques
- Demonstrated Knowledge understanding and application of GMP Guidelines and Regulations
- Knowledge of Quality Control Quality Assurance and Quality Systems and a basic understanding of manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication links within EML affiliated organisations and other customers
- Good technical and scientific judgement
- Ability to interpret complex data and present key findings
- Computer literate e.g. Word Excel and PowerPoint
