Job Description
- Conduct research in the field for long and extensive hours.
- Plan and co-ordinate research with single or multi-disciplinary team.
- Data capturing analysis interpretations and recommendations.
- Analytical problem solving.
- Disseminate technologythrough peer-reviewed scientific articles.
- Regularly provide feedback (verbal/written) on work activities to supervisor.
- Comply with health and safety and risk procedures.
- MSc degree (NQF level 9) in Biotechnology.
- Candidate will register for PhD in 2026 academic year.
- Candidate who is currently busy with Masters degree must complete the programme before the end of 2025.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of Agriculture Biotechnology and/or Biochemistry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in conducting research on medicinal plants especially Pelargonium sidoides will be an added advantage.
- Ability to do physical work.
- Great learning capability.
- A valid drivers license.
