Job Description
Working Foreman (Automotive Industry) - Sandton Gauteng - Salary R30 000 to R35 000
A forward-thinking automotive group based in Sandton is looking for a hands-on Working Foreman to lead and support our workshop technical team. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with a passion for high-quality workmanship leadership and driving team performance in a fast-paced digitally integrated environment.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 07:30 - 17:30 and Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00
Minimum Requirements:

Matric with formal technical qualifications

Valid drivers license
-
3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified technician

Prior experience in team leadership or quality control
-
Background in corporate dealerships and volume brands
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach workshop technicians to meet daily output and quality targets

Diagnose and repair vehicles to OEM standards
-
Ensure job card accuracy quality control and warranty compliance
-
Manage workshop workflow clockings and productivity reporting

Oversee pre-delivery inspections and final quality checks

Maintain a safe compliant and efficient workshop environment

Provide hands-on technical assistance and mentoring to junior staff

Proven leadership and training abilities

Proficient in interpreting service manuals wiring diagrams and OEM standards
