Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an adept IT Lead to oversee and innovate the technological backbone of our organization manage end-user support operations local implementation of global IT initiatives and best practices.

This individual will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT-related support ensuring timely resolution of local issues and coordination with centralized IT teams for backend infrastructure and enterprise application support.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure of the respective vertical in all the locations in the country exploring the latest technologies in servers network data centres desk side and security of the organization.
  • You will be responsible for working on IT projects ensuring achievement of project objectives and timelines.
  • You will analyse the requirements building networks servers and data centres for new unit/office locations incorporating inputs from the ground team.
  • Your role involves supporting supervisors in decision-making based on technical and functional inputs providing information to SCM for commercial negotiations to design the required IT infrastructure and completing the installation configuration validation and testing till the commissioning of the project.
  • You will be responsible for timely review of the project status reporting the same to the supervisor.
  • You will analyse the risks of delay and execute the POA with the supervisors guidance in order to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • You will plan IT Infrastructure related projects with the supervisors guidance and drive the execution of the same in various business units.
  • Your responsibilities include reviewing the status of the project troubleshooting technical issues seeking approval from various departments and sharing with the team for execution and coordinating with the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and vendor to streamline projects.
  • You will be responsible for managing the infrastructure in units and data centres to provide the uptime and availability as per agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • You will explore new technologies to improve availability of the IT infrastructure and reduce cost in order to improve the service.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification: Diploma or Bachelors Degree

Minimum work experience: 5 years

Skills & attributes:

  • Deep knowledge of the vertical technology like network server security and desk side support.
  • Ability to conceptualize and establish adequate processes and controls.
  • Good grasp of the business environment to support management in decision making.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced high energy organization.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and adherence to all compliance guidelines.
