Job Description
- Oversee all dispatch operations ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Lead manage and motivate the dispatch team to achieve daily targets and performance KPIs.
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules based on customer orders and stock availability.
- Maintain a well-organised and clean dispatch area.
- Ensure all documentation including delivery notes and packing slips is accurately completed and filed.
- Liaise with logistics providers drivers and internal departments to ensure smooth outbound operations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control as required.
- Address and resolve any dispatch-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Uphold strict adherence to company policies and health & safety standards.
- Proven experience in a similar dispatch leadership role preferably within a textile fabric or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent people management skills ability to lead from the front and get the best out of your team.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive hands-on and always a few steps ahead.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate (basic proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems).
