To lead manage and guide an assigned team in the day-to-day operational duties an assigned reconciliations team and manage any complex breaks queries or escalations to ensure resources are effectively allocated all entries are matched and breaks are timeously resolved. Perform reconciliations where required.
Qualifications :
Diploma: Finance and Accounting
Experience Required
3-4 years experience in:
- Intermediate knowledge of financial instruments and relevant experience within the CIS (Collective investment schemes) industry.
- Previous back-office experience working within a financial services industry or asset manager.
- Previous experience in building relationships and engaging with clients to gather required information documentation and resolve queries.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to meet daily / monthly targets.
- Relevant reconciliations knowledge and experience with a broad understanding of fund accounting and reconciliations systems processes and procedures to perform reconciliations as well as understanding key financial concepts and practices.
