Senior Manager: Blast Furnace Iron Making
Location: Vanderbijlpark (onsite)

Our client is on the hunt for a bold visionary and results-driven Senior Manager: Blast Furnace Iron Making (M2) to lead our Blast Furnace function. What You ll Own:
- Drive Production Excellence: Deliver annual Iron Making production targets aligned with monthly capacity plans.
- Champion Safety: Embed a culture of zero harm and strict adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.
- Lead & Inspire: Empower a skilled team of professionals to deliver peak operational performance through strong leadership and mentorship.
- Optimise Operations: Continuously improve reliability efficiency product quality and reduce operational costs.
- Strategic Resource Management: Manage manpower materials and equipment for optimal output.
- Budget Stewardship: Own and manage the operational budget with a sharp focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Performance Reporting: Provide strategic insights and regular reports to senior management on performance and safety metrics.
Requirements
What We re Looking For:
- Academic Edge: Bachelor s degree in Engineering (NQF 8) is essential. A Management Development Programme is a strong advantage.
- Depth of Experience: 12 years in heavy industry or iron/steel production with deep knowledge of iron making processes and technologies.
- Leadership Power: Proven ability to lead large technical teams in high-pressure environments.
