My client within the Financial Services sector islooking for a Group Finance Manager to take ownership of global financial operations across multiple entities and support a fast-growing impact-driven business operating in emerging markets. Responsibilities:
- Management Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities (US UK Singapore Kenya); maintain and refine departmental cost allocation methodologies; perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet items
- Financial Operations: Oversee payroll accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes; oversee the Groups treasury function to optimise cash holdings and manage currency exposure
- Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit regulatory returns including FCA and SEC filings; manage ongoing tax compliance including VAT and PSA returns; coordinate annual corporation tax return filings with external tax advisors
- Audit & Financial Controls: Lead annual audits across all group entities acting as the key point of contact with auditors; ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting requirements
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support the COO in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and forecasts for the organisation; maintain and develop management reporting dashboards and KPIs to track key financial and operational metrics
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. CA(SA) ACA ACCA CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualified experience in management accounting and financial analysis or related role
- Experience with multi-entity multi-currency financial operations
- Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar systems)
