Job Description
WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for two Inspectors to join the team in Port Elizabeth. The incumbent will oversee the sampling weighing and sealing of materials according to established procedures. You are responsible for recording checking correcting and updating data. You will ensure that the integrity and safety of the samples is maintained. You will liaise with the operations manager regarding the work and will be expected to travel to different locations to carry out inspection work.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Required Competencies
- To be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate literacy and be numerate
- Demonstrate ability to lead
- Can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
- To be adaptable and flexible
- Demonstrate good attention to detail
- To be able to work in a team
- Good timekeeping
- Ability to work from own initiative with minimum supervision
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Energetic and self-starter
- Be in possession of a valid drivers license
Required Qualifications
- Matric with Maths
- Chemistry or Operations Management Qualification
Required work experience
- At least 2 years working experience within Operations or a similar field
