Growth Resourcing are looking for a Senior Copywriter to lead the development of clear compelling and strategic copy across a wide range of channels and formats. You ll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice crafting persuasive content and guiding junior writers all while driving measurable engagement and supporting key marketing goals under the direction of the Head of Marketing.

Role Responsibilities
- Write high-impact on-brand copy for a variety of formats: websites email campaigns landing pages ads blogs video scripts and more.
- Lead and execute creative content strategies across channels ensuring consistency in voice and message.
- Interpret briefs and translate complex ideas into clear human-centric messaging including helping shape AI-generated content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design product and digital marketing to develop cohesive campaigns.
- Edit and elevate content created by junior writers or AI tools to ensure it meets brand and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough research and stakeholder interviews to inform copy.
- Use SEO and content best practices to optimise written work for visibility and engagement.
- Guide tone-of-voice development and help maintain brand guidelines across all content.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions campaign ideation and creative reviews.
Requirements
- 5 years of proven experience as a copywriter preferably in a senior or lead role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types tones and brand storytelling.
- Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills with acute attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of content strategy and how copy supports broader marketing goals.
- Proficiency with SEO principles and with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior writers or creative contributors.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced creative or agency environment.
- Familiarity with data-driven content development (e.g. using analytics to optimise messaging).
- A degree in English Journalism Marketing Communications or a related field
