Location: Richards Bay - KZN
Industry : Industrial Chemical - Hydroblasting
Qualification:
- SACPCMP registration as a Safety Officer
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers license
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Provide safety training to new and existing employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain records of safety inspections audits and incidents
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture
- Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and standards
- Assist in emergency response and evacuation procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and committees
