This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to design end-to-end system enhancements and data-level integrations across trading and fund platforms at a leading South African asset manager. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their technical expertise and gain hands-on systems ownership in the investment space.
Based in CAPE TOWN (hybrid) this Business Systems Analyst position is paying R440KR500K PA

THE ROLE:
As a Business Systems Analyst youll be part of the IT delivery team responsible for supporting configuring and improving the systems that enable financial operations such as portfolio management fund accounting market data and compliance.
Youll work with developers vendors and business stakeholders to gather requirements produce functional and technical specifications and deliver system changes that support critical business performance.
The role includes a strong technical component; youll define data-level integrations validate financial data and assist with system testing and improvements. Its a hands-on role where accuracy structure and problem-solving are key.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
BSc or BCom in relevant field
2 years experience in a business or systems analyst role
Experience working with financial data and business processes
Understanding of functional and technical specification design
SQL and programming skills
Confident working with documentation data flows and system testing
Knowledge of market instruments and processes
