Leads the creation and execution of visual content to support the hotels marketing and communications objectives. Responsible for producing photography and videography assets that capture the brand spirit and elevate the visual identity of the hotel with a strong focus on the restaurant and bar portfolio. Ensures all visual content is emotionally engaging brand-aligned and delivered in a timely manner to support daily campaigns across digital and social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Plan capture and edit high-quality photo and video content to support hotel campaigns brand storytelling and social activations across departments including restaurants bars spa & wellness and overall hotel experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and the MarCom team to conceptualize and produce compelling visual assets that align with Fairmonts brand identity and content strategy.
- Create engaging short-form video content (e.g. Instagram & Facebook Reels YouTube Shorts) and social-ready photography that evokes emotion drives engagement and strengthens brand presence across digital platforms.
- Ensure timely post-production and delivery of edited content for use across internal channels (e.g. guest communications presentations) and external platforms (e.g. social media digital ads PR).
- Maintain and organize the hotels visual asset library ensuring all photo and video content is properly archived tagged and version-controlled for easy access and re-use.
- Provide visual coverage for hotel events seasonal promotions VIP guest visits and brand activations; assist with live or on-site content production as needed.
- Stay updated on current trends formats and innovations in hospitality luxury lifestyle and digital storytelling to bring fresh relevant perspectives to content creation.
- Ensure all visual content consistently reflects the Fairmont tone of voice brand standards and quality expectations.
- Support written content development (e.g. captions campaign taglines or content descriptions) when required in coordination with the Brand Content Executive and the team.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media Photography Videography or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a content creator or visual storyteller in hospitality F&B or luxury lifestyle.
- Strong professional portfolio demonstrating expertise in food lifestyle and brand-focused photography and videography.
- Proficient in DSLR and iPhone photography; familiarity with lighting and audio setups.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro Lightroom Photoshop After Effects or equivalent editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media formats and what performs well across platforms like Facebook Instagram TikTok.
- Excellent eye for composition lighting and visual narrative.
- Creative fast-working and adaptable; able to produce high-quality content in natural dynamic conditions.
- Fluent in English > adding the ability to use phone semi-pro camera when filming & shooting
