JOB TITLE: RS Senior Aircraft Cabinet Maker
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $33.81/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Fabricate high-quality complex furniture and wood subassemblies using stationary and handheld tools
-
Interpret material specs and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements and approved samples
-
Use a variety of woodworking tools and techniques
-
Champion safety 5S and housekeeping policies while protecting aircraft interiors
-
Collaborate with lead and senior technicians on process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles
-
Use material tracking systems to create parts demand track squawks and sign off work
-
Assume Lead duties as needed mentoring and training less experienced technicians
-
Oversee projects and coordinate task delegation with Lead
-
Conduct and assist with safety audits
-
Help maintain shop equipment and associated JSAs
-
Coordinate with other backshops as required
-
Adapt to sudden schedule changes
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Minimum 4 years of cabinetmaking experience
-
Aerospace industry experience preferred
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficient in reading writing speaking and understanding English
-
Ability to climb ladders/stairs work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift
-
Computer literate
-
Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes and products
-
Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications preferred
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
