Job Description
Cath Lab- RN (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 10-hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Make care plan adjustments to meet desired outcomes.
- Provide therapeutic and professional support to patients and families.
- Educate patients families nurses and community members to promote informed health decisions.
- Assess and document patient and family learning needs regularly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care strategies.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up to ensure completion.
- Use problem-solving strategies in clinical decision-making.
- Maintain focus on patient safety efficiency and effectiveness in care delivery.
- Serve as a mentor to peers and contribute to professional growth within the team.
- Participate in community service efforts and hospital-wide initiatives.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- License: Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) or Cath Lab setting
