Job Description
The Macon R-1 School District is seeking applicants for an opening of MS Head Scholar Bowl Coachfor the 2025-2026 school year to organize train and mentor a team of students to prepare for academic competitions.
The coach will foster a positive learning environment that emphasizes teamwork critical thinking academic excellence and sportsmanship.
Candidates must have or be able to attain a minimum of an appropriateMissouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
Qualifications: Mustpossesseffectivecoachingtechniquesandskills. Ability to organize practices develop team strategy and prepare students for competitive academic tournaments. Mustpossessa strong knowledge base across multiple academic disciplines. Experience working with middle school students. Excellent organziational and communication skills. Ability to motivate and mentor students of varying ability levels.
