Role Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for development and maintenance of customer relationships resulting in the generation of profitable revenue. The Outside Sales Representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories. This individual will also develop ongoing profitable relationships with customers and associates to continually maintain a professional image of the company. Duties may vary to include some or all the following job responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Make front-line assessment of market conditions and advise/communicate to the team.
Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services competitor activities and other research as required.
Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while on-site.
Generate revenue from targeted accounts and radiate sales from within an existing client base.
Overcome objections of prospective customers.
Emphasize product/service features and benefits quote prices discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
Maintain accurate records including sales call reports expense reimbursement forms billing invoices and other documentation as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Sales Business Administration or similar field. Equivalent in experience taken into consideration.
3-5 years experience in Sales and/or customer service required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook Word Excel) and PDF software.
Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software strongly preferred.
Knowledge of tire and wheel industry is desirable.
Excellent customer service and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task prioritize and organize efficiently.
Strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Primarily office-based work with recurring travel to customer sites.
Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or hear.
Must be able to occasionally stand walk and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.
The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
