Student Employment Opportunity: Intramural Official
Do you have a passion for sports and a sharp eye for fair play Palmer College is seeking Intramural Officials to help create a fun safe and competitive environment for our campus athletes.
Position Overview
As an Intramural Official youll be responsible for officiating regular season and post-season scheduled games across a variety of sports. Youll help ensure games run smoothly safely and in accordance with established rules.
Function:
- Intramural officials will officiate at intramural scheduled activities and games.
Organizational Relationships:
- The intramural officials will report directly to the Athletic and Recreation Coordinator; the officials will report directly to the Intramural Coordinator.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- To officiate at intramural regular season and post season scheduled games
Education Training and Experience:
- Requires at least one year of experience working as an official
- General knowledge of specific sport rules
- State certification is preferred
Students length of employment will be from the date of hire until termination either by student or the supervisor not to exceed the students graduation from Palmer College.
