About the Practice

Odgers Technology Practice is a highly innovative global team. We have consistently been one of the fastest-growing practices over the last five years reflecting the enormous growth and trajectory of the tech sector overall. Leveraging the firms 60 offices worldwide Odgers Technology Practice has global capability and insight.

In the last 12 months weve continued to expand in North America with new Partners joining our offices in San Francisco Austin Dallas Boston and Washington DC. Today the practice has over 30 Partners across North America EMEA and Asia Pacific with the extended team numbering over 55 members.

We work with hyper-growth clients at various stages of their evolution from early-stage VC/PE backed disruptors to global icons of the industry. Our job is to support our clients visions and strategy by securing diverse dynamic and talented executives building winning leadership teams of tomorrow.

About the Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity to join a market-leading team delivering some of the most high-profile senior complex and impactful work that exists in our space. We are looking to appoint a Principal or Partner to our team who will bring experience of working within the B2B enterprise technology space.

Ideally this person will have experience in either the industry consulting advisory recruitment or executive search. We are happy to consider candidates interested in making a lateral move into Executive search.

Key elements of the role will be to:

  • Strengthen our presence in the Global Technology market with opportunities to lead a segment and explore new markets.
  • Driving business development managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
  • Building networks to secure retained mandates and expand Odgers reach.
  • Contributing to a high-performing innovative team and supporting our diversity goals.
  • Establishing long-term relationships with clients and candidates alike and building a strong personal brand.
  • Leading multiple client engagements from start to finish guiding and supporting the search team.
  • Gaining deep client insight to broaden our service offering and connect colleagues across our global network.
  • Collaborating closely to ensure an exceptional experience for clients candidates and colleagues.

About you

What you will bring to this role:

  • Experience in the B2B Enterprise Technology sector with a strong track record in client service sales and business development.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with senior stakeholders including Board and Executive Committee members.
  • A reputation for delivering excellence and becoming a trusted advisor bringing insight and innovation to client work.
  • A consulting mindset with strong project execution skills sound judgment and patience.
  • Entrepreneurial energy self-motivation and a collaborative approach.
  • Intellectual curiosity creative thinking and a strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and encourage diverse perspectives.
