Job Description
Position Description:
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Data Engineer to join our team of consultants. This role focuses on designing building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations within a modern cloud-based data ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about data engineering automation and cloud technologies and thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Talend DBT and Dagster.
Engineer data integrations from diverse sources including APIGEE SAP BTP MongoDB and SQL-based systems.
Manage and enhance data workflows on cloud platforms like Azure and GCP with Snowflake as the core data warehouse.
Build and maintain APIs and microservices using Python and Spring Boot to support data operations.
Implement data quality and observability frameworks using Monte Carlo Collibra and related tools.
Collaborate with data scientists analysts and business stakeholders to deliver clean reliable and timely data.
Support data visualization and reporting using Power BI and Dataiku.
Conduct API testing using Postman and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
4 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.
Proficiency in Talend SQL and Python for data pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake DBT and cloud platforms (Azure GCP).
Familiarity with APIGEE SAP BTP MongoDB and RESTful APIs.
Experience with microservices architecture and OData.
Knowledge of data governance and observability tools (e.g. Monte Carlo Collibra).
Strong API testing skills using Postman.
Experience with Power BI and Dataiku (nice to have).
Excellent communication skills in English and French.
Background in enterprise data architecture or digital transformation (nice to have).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
