Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our Geotechnical and Tunnelling team as a Technical this role you will lead our team through innovative projects focused on exciting tunnel projects across Europe tunnel asset management and new build developments. Our work is both challenging and rewarding providing an opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure.
As a Technical Director you will provide technical leadership and oversight to a talented group of engineers and professionals working on projects that are technically demanding and crucial for the future. Our client list includes respected organisations such as Transport for Scotland National Highways and International Governments reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions with a global impact.
Role Accountabilities
Technical Leadership: Track record and detailed expertise in structural and geotechnical aspects of tunnel design extensive knowledge of tunnelling methodologies and construction practices and the ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects whilst solving complex engineering challenges.
Lead and Mentor: Provide guidance and successfully manage multidisciplinary team fostering professional growth and a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Strategic Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery of projects by setting clear goals and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
Innovative Solutions: Champion the development of sustainable and forward-thinking engineering solutions that enhance communities.
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive expertise in geotechnical and tunnelling engineering with experience in both new build and asset management projects.
Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects with a focus on quality safety and sustainability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client and team relationships.
