Job Summary:
The Sales Director- Pre-Needs Sales is responsible for leading and developing a team focused on pre-need funeral services. Building and maintaining relationships with area Funeral Homes agents agencies etc. This role involves strategic planning team leadership to ensure that sales targets are met and that customers receive exceptional service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Recruit train and mentor a team of preneed sales professionals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve Premier and Funeral Home objectives for pre-need sales.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Drive individual and team results to meet or exceed established goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure that all customer interactions are conducted with the highest level of service and integrity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with funeral home and agencies to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns for pre-need services.
Organize and participate in community events to promote pre-need sales.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the community.
Ensure compliance with all company policies industry regulations and legal requirements
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and contracts.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management preferably in the pre-need insurance or financial services industries
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field preferred.
Certification in sales training or management is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed.
Ability to travel extensively
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
