Kustom US is seeking an I.T. Support Technician to add to our growing team in the new year. This role requires a deep understanding of various operating systems networking concepts and security principles along with hands-on experience with key technologies such as M365 Intune and Fortinet. The ideal candidate will be proactive in troubleshooting have a strong problem-solving mindset and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.

What you will do:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide day-to-day support for operating systems including Windows (various versions) iOS (iPhones) and basic Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking security and devices in a timely manner.

Networking Support

• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN architectures TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPN technologies (IPsec SSL VPNs).
• Assist with basic routing and switching issues across the network.
• Configure and monitor Unifi networking equipment including access points switches and controllers.

Security Management

• Implement and manage basic security principles including firewalls (Fortinet experience is a plus) access control and endpoint security measures.
• Monitor and maintain security configurations for devices and networks.
• Configure and monitor Fortinet firewalls including security policies and VPN setups.

M365 Administration

• Administer M365 services including Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business and Teams.
• Manage M365 user accounts licensing permissions and security settings.

Mobile Device Management (MDM)

• Use Intune to manage mobile devices and applications (MDM/MAM).
• Configure device enrollment deploy policies and manage mobile apps.
• Enforce conditional access and security settings.

Identity & Access Management

• Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Configure and support multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems.

Terminal Server Management

• Provide support for Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or other terminal server environments.
• Manage session configurations application publishing and user profiles.

Device Deployment & Autopilot Support

• Support Windows Autopilot for device provisioning including device registration profile configuration and deployment scenarios.

Documentation & Reporting

• Document troubleshooting processes resolutions and system configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of hardware and software inventory.

Learning & Development

• Stay current with emerging technologies and IT best practices.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new IT systems and tools.

What you will bring:

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operating Systems: In-depth experience with Windows (various versions) iOS (iPhones) and basic Linux for terminal server management.
• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP LAN/WAN architectures VPN technologies (IPsec SSL VPNs) and basic routing and switching.
• Security: Experience with firewalls (Fortinet preferred) access control and endpoint security management.
• M365 Administration: Proficient in administering M365 services including Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business Teams and user/licensing management.
• Intune MDM/MAM: Experience with Intune for device enrollment policy deployment application management and conditional access.
• Identity Management: Familiarity with Active Directory Azure Active Directory user provisioning/deprovisioning and multi-factor authentication.
• Terminal Servers: Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) session management application publishing and user profile management.
• Unifi Networking Equipment: Familiarity with Unifi access points switches network controllers and basic configuration/troubleshooting.
• Fortinet Firewalls: Basic experience with configuring security policies VPNs and network monitoring on Fortinet firewalls.
• Windows Autopilot: Experience with Windows Autopilot for device deployment profile configuration and related deployment scenarios.
