Job Description

Project Scope: The client is seeking experienced technicians to provide IT operational support in areas within IT Platform Services and for the 2025 Windows 11 Lifecycle Support and daily operational duties. The client is seeking technicians who can work 40 hours per week for a 960-hour engagement.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining client support during client business hours.
  2. Ensuring ServiceNow assigned tickets to the contractor are processed and completed.
  3. Deliverables include but are not limited to:
  1. Work on-site at clientoffice locations
  2. Occasionally drive personal vehicle between client office locations
  3. Provide Technology Support for Windows 11 Lifecycle
  4. Perform computer user data and software inventory services
  5. Perform lifecycle replacement computer services
  6. Provide computer technical hardware & software assistance
  7. Perform user hardware software inventory services
  8. Perform conference room support services
  9. Perform committee and board meeting support
  10. Complete assigned tasks in Service Now Ticketing System
  11. Windows 11 Lifecycle support including deployments user assistance hardware inventory support

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Contractor must deliver a fully functional and operationalized solution.
  2. The selected candidates must be physically able to perform the duties of the positionand MAY be required to pass a client medical examination and Fitness for Duty screening.
  3. The selected candidate(s) must be available to work on site at SMUD office locations. Some remote work may be available during the contract.
  4. Technical Requirements:
  1. Work Delivery - Ability to work with minimal direction yet also work in a team environment
  2. Physical Duties - Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  3. Report to Supervisor IT Platform Services
  4. Install maintain diagnose and prepare computer hardware printers plotters and related peripheral equipment with Microsoft software products in a networked environment.
  5. Diagnose research and resolve computer issues
  6. Provide technical support for client Committee and Board Meetings OS & Computer Hardware Lifecycle Replacement Experience

Desirable Skills:

Desirable Qualifications- CompTIA Technician
