Job Description
Job Title: Lead Cable Technician
Location: Abilene TX (Relocation Assistance Possible)
Type: Contract-to-Hire (2 3 Year Contract)
Openings: 3 4 Positions Available
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking experienced Lead Cable Technicians for a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity in Abilene TX. This role involves both hands-on cable installation work and supervision of a small team. The Lead Technician will ensure work is completed to quality standards provide on-site guidance and report directly to the Foreman.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform hands-on cable installation termination and related field work (DCT work / Oracle systems experience preferred).

Supervise and guide a team of technicians to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

Monitor daily tasks quality of work and safety compliance on site.

Coordinate with the Foreman on project updates and progress.

Maintain workflow and productivity in a 24/7 operational environment.

Site operates 7 days a week 24 hours a day.

Typical workweeks are 48 56 hours with shifts fluctuating between 8 12 hours per day.

Must be flexible to meet project demands.

Minimum 3 years of structured cabling experience; previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong understanding of cable installation processes tools and safety procedures.

Ability to work alongside the crew while also leading by example.

Experience with DCT work and Oracle systems a plus.

Ability to relocate to Abilene TX (relocation assistance may be available).
