About the Finance Manager

What the Finance Manager Does
Lead the development of integrated time-phased budgets and schedules ensuring EV data is accurate compliant and actionable. Enhance financial controls procedures and forecasting systems to optimize program execution and exceed customer expectations. Deliver real-time insights on program financial performanceproviding early warnings identifying risks and recommending solutions that drive success. Conduct robust budgeting cost control schedule analysis variance analysis and risk assessments to guide program outcomes. Prepare and present compelling financial reports EV artifacts and executive briefings to both internal leadership and external customers. Champion process improvements across financial operations increasing efficiency accuracy and compliance. Provide mentorship to junior analysts growing the next generation of financial leaders within Keel. Maintain a keen eye on compliance with FAR DFARS CAS and GAAP ensuring flawless execution of contract requirements. Build strong relationships with program teams and customers becoming a go-to resource for financial expertise and strategic insights.

What the Finance Manager Brings
Bachelors degree in finance or equivalent field with 4 years of finance experience (or 6 years without a degree); a graduate degree is a plus. Proven experience managing teams and financial operations. Deep expertise in financial analysis forecasting budgeting earned value reporting and customer/management communications. Strong command of Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Smartsheet experience is a bonus. Solid understanding of FAR DFARS CAS GAAP and EVM principles. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear actionable recommendations. Exceptional attention to detail organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and a proactive solutions-oriented mindset. Must be able to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance.
