The Marketing Leadership Development Program (MLDP) is dedicated to developing high potential talented individuals that possess marketing skills and seek a deep understanding of the people we serve. Throughout their development journey participants build a multi-disciplinary perspective and cultivate the skills necessary to meet the challenges of continuously changing business conditions.
Participants in the MLDP will gain valuable experience by completing three 12-18 month-long personalized rotational assignments. Rotations are aligned to the Cignas Group growth strategy as well as each associates personal development needs and career interests. The program prepares associates for a successful career in Global Marketing with an extensive foundation of broad experiences.

What youll do:
Rotational assignments may include but are not limited to:
Brand Brand Sponsorships Business Marketing Competitive Intelligence Customer Experience Field Marketing Marketing Communication Marketing Research Marketing Technology Social Media Etc.
As an associate in the program your experience will include:
Competency-based development focused on coaching and advocacy
Exposure to senior leaders focused mentorship leadership coaching and professional networking
A supportive and collaborative community of peers
Cohort style learning with workshops case studies and capstone projects
Events such as an ongoing dedicated marketing leadership lunch and learn series
Outreach opportunities through community service and charitable events
Cross functional learning with the Cignas Group other premier leadership development programs
What you need to do the job:
Successful completion of an internship at The Cigna Group is required.
Completed an MBA with a focus in marketing or related field.
3 years of professional work experience in marketing communications or a transferable field.
Desire to cultivate a career in the marketing field.
Drive to deliver results with project management skills and ability to influence thinking
Evidence of strong analytical ability innovative thinking and data driven problem solving skills.
Emerging leadership skills such as interpersonal savvy motivating others organizational agility and dealing with ambiguity.
Aptitude to work across a variety of environments with a growth mindset.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
