We are looking for a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team in St Pauls Bay and help maintain the high standards of our property. The ideal candidate will be proactive in ensuring all hotel facilities equipment and infrastructure are functioning smoothly to provide a safe comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks across the hotel premises including plumbing electrical carpentry painting and HVAC systems

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize guest disruption

Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential problems before they arise
-
Assist with the installation repair and upkeep of hotel fixtures and appliances
-
Maintain and operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly
-
Collaborate with other departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance work

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and materials used
-
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations at all times

Support the preparation and maintenance of common areas guest rooms and back-of-house facilities
Requirements

Proven experience in general maintenance preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting

Skilled in multiple maintenance disciplines: electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC painting

Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems efficiently

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
