Job Description
Our exclusive partner is seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician to join their growing team. This role is perfect for someone with a hands-on detail-oriented approach who takes pride in delivering reliable IT infrastructure that keeps businesses running smoothly.
Youll work closely with an experienced Infrastructure Specialist gaining mentorship while contributing to installations maintenance and troubleshooting across a range of client environments and internal systems.
What Youll Be Doing
- Installing terminating and testing structured cabling to the highest standards.
- Setting up cable management systems (PVC trunking trays conduit).
- Assembling and installing racks cabinets and networking equipment.
- Carrying out patching labelling and fault diagnostics.
- Performing preventive maintenance to keep infrastructure running without disruption.
- Assisting with data centre tasks including rack organisation patching and environmental checks.
- Ensuring all company tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Following strict site access health and safety protocols at all times.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in structured cabling and IT infrastructure maintenance (training will be provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing things properly.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently.
- Good communication skills and professional conduct when working on client sites.
- Safety-first mindset and respect for compliance procedures.
- A valid driving licence is considered an asset.
