Job Description
Working as part of an existing team the selected candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:
- Undertake servicing maintenance and repair of any mechanical equipment at clients premises on site and at the Companys workshop;
- Undertake installation and commissioning of any mechanical system and equipment ranging from air compressor high pressure cleaner forklift truck marine engine;
- Dismantle repair and overhaul mechanical plant items such as pumps and compressors;
- Carry out electrical fault diagnoses on mechanical equipment including any programming / adjustments which may be required;
- Compile maintenance and service logs and other relevant records.
Qualifications :
The selected candidate will preferably:
- have a relevant Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
- be skilful at diagnosing and carrying out repairs at component level;
- be familiar with micro-processor controllers as used domestically and industrially;
- be an effective team player;
- be able to work to high standards of customer care and satisfaction.
Previous work experience in a related field would be considered advantageous but fresh graduates will also be considered and will be given on-the-job training.
