Role Description

Work as a member of the Structured Investments & Solutions team within WMs Investment Solutions group. The team originates and distributes structured investments and other derivative strategies to WM Financial Advisors with the goal of providing end clients with market-linked investment solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Market structured investments to WM Financial Advisors (FAs)
• Support structured investments new issue deal flow and transaction lifecycle management
• Liaise with team management on marketing strategy data analysis and platform efficiencies
• Develop relationships with FAs WM Field employees Investment Solutions colleagues and partners in Legal/Compliance/Risk

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field (e.g. finance accounting math economics)
• Ability to obtain Series 7 & 63 licenses
• Strong analytical skills
• Dynamic and effective communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work independently prioritize work manage time and meet deadlines
• Willingness and ability to operate well in a collaborative team-oriented dynamic sales and trading atmosphere
• Working knowledge of capital markets; experience with derivatives or structured investments is a benefit

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110000 and $185000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
