Job Description
We are looking for a junior Stress Engineer to work on metallic structural analysis projects within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in static and fatigue analysis for wing structures and hands-on experience using ISAMI.
What will you be doing
- Perform metallic structural analysis on aerospace components focusing on wing assemblies.
- Conduct static and fatigue calculations to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
- Utilise ISAMI to carry out stress analysis in accordance with Aerospace methods and standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports to support certification.
- Liaise with design manufacturing and quality teams to resolve structural issues.
Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in metallic stress analysis (static and fatigue) for aerospace structures.
- Proficiency with ISAMI for structural modelling and verification.
- Understanding of aerospace industry standards and practices.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as NASTRAN/PATRAN or HyperMesh.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
