Operations Coordinator
Job Type: FT Days

Wage scale: $XX - $XX per hour

How youll contribute:

The Plant Operations Coordinator processes all repair request creates work orders distributes monthly PM/PE work orders maintains the TMS system department records policies files and log books. Works with department director for Life Safety compliance and tracking Reports to: Director of Plant Operations and Director of Environmental Services. This is a shared support position

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of duties for Plant Operations department to include work orders policies Joint Commission manuals/documents typing filing and computer program updates.

  • Ensures that utility and structural service and repairs takes place as needed alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.

  • Assists as needed in as well as inspects tests and maintains records for all fire risers sprinklers extinguishers fire doors and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.

  • Coordinates the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage.

  • Coordinates maintenance equipment repairs obtains estimates processes invoices.

  • Works in conjunction with director to maintain Life Safety requirements tracking scheduling activities rounds fire drills and supporting documentation. Nonessential Functions

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent Required

  • Two years of college Preferred Required

  • Skills Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
