The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable person to join the Trade Credit & Surety claims team. The role of Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims. You will be reporting directly into the Service Manager - Trade Credit & Surety and working within a collaborative supportive and dedicated team.

Your new role

• Process claims promptly and in compliance with regulations.

• Handle all written and verbal communications with customers.

• Maintain a strong customer service focus especially in challenging situations.

• Support the implementation of the Claims strategy.

• Keep files systems and databases accurate to reflect the Claim Management process.

• Share competitor and market activity insights with the team and actively engage in training and coaching to meet QBE and customer expectations.

About you

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused.

• Claims experience in a specialist or financial insurance class is highly regarded.

• Background in insolvency accounting banking or finance is highly regarded.

• Experience working with brokers and/or corporate customers is highly regarded.

• Strong customer-focused experience with analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and influence internal stakeholders.

• Team-oriented resilient and accountable acting with integrity under pressure.
