We are looking for a Head of Learning Design and Development to join our team.
Role summary
Lead the teams that imagine design and build Kaplans learning products. Own pedagogy media creation and technical build. Ensure every asset works in classroom Live Online and OnDemand and is accessible to all learners.
As the Head of Learning Design and Development you will:
Set the vision and roadmap for end-to-end learning experience design and asset production.
Shape design standards templates and creative style guides.
Plan resources to ensure projects meet time cost and quality targets.
Drive innovation in digital learning design and multimedia learning content.
Engage with learning leaders across Kaplan worldwide to share insight and develop best practice.
Work with platforms and AI leads to match technology with pedagogy.
Use data learner feedback and UX research to improve products.
Manage vendor and SME relationships.
Champion accessibility diversity and sustainability in all outputs/

Proven record of leading crossfunctional design media and dev teams.
Deep knowledge of instructional design learning science and multimedia.
Strong project and vendormanagement skills.
Solid grasp of HTML CSS JavaScript and content standards (SCORM xAPI).
Experience of using AI to improve speed and quality of production.
Commitment to accessibility inclusive design and high production values.
Ability to turn data into clear actions that lift learner outcomes.
