Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. This vital role is integral to fostering our organizations mission and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. The Communications Coordinator will help shape and implement communication strategies that promote our brand amplify our message and engage our stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance organizational objectives.
- Create engaging content for various platforms including press releases newsletters and social media posts.
- Manage and update the organizations website and social media accounts to ensure consistent messaging.
- Coordinate internal communications to ensure all team members are informed and aligned on initiatives and goals.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events including press conferences and community outreach activities.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts adjusting strategies as needed based on feedback and metrics.
Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications role or similar position.
- Excellent writing editing and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with social media management and digital communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and content management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also thriving independently.
