The role
In this role youll be leading a place-based team that works closely with councils communities and industry across the Southern Western and Macarthur regions. Your focus will be on integrating land use and infrastructure planning to create vibrant well-connected places. Youll guide strategic planning and development assessments helping councils navigate complex issues and deliver renewal precincts that align with government priorities.
The job comes with its share of challengesbalancing competing stakeholder interests managing time-sensitive decisions and navigating high-profile planning matters. But its also a chance to shape outcomes through collaboration expert advice and strong leadership. Youll be setting priorities driving performance and making sure planning decisions are informed timely and impactful.
