We are seeking a Lead Copywriter to join our SEO & Content team. This role will be responsible for driving performance-focused copy across the Bullion International Group portfolio with an emphasis on ecommerce advertising and conversion-focused testing. The ideal candidate is a versatile marketer who can develop copy strategy iterate quickly through A/B tests and deliver clear brand-aligned messaging that moves customers to action.
About the Role
The Lead Copywriter will set the copy approach for branded campaigns product launches and ongoing growth initiatives. They will be the first resource considered for copy needs across our brands and a key contributor to content products that may include collaborations with commodities analysts and market commentary. While this role is not responsible for producing market analysis it requires the ability to read understand and lightly edit market commentary when needed.
Success in this role requires strong performance writing skills a test-and-learn mindset and the ability to translate product value into concise persuasive copy. This individual must be comfortable working in a professional environment where respect for deadlines quality and attention to detail are defining features of success. The Lead Copywriter will mentor and edit the work of a junior copywriter (no direct reports) and will partner with marketing UX merchandising and business stakeholders to align copy with brand standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Overview
Develop and own copy strategy for branded marketing campaigns product launches promotions and always-on growth initiatives across the portfolio.
Write and edit persuasive conversion-focused copy for the website associated digital properties and print media.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design hypotheses create test variants and interpret results for A/B and multivariate testing; apply learnings to improve conversion and engagement.
Serve as the first-call resource for high-impact products and services (e.g. loyalty programs payments/credit offerings) crafting messaging frameworks and clear value propositions.
Contribute to content products that may include collaborations with commodities analysts and market commentary; review for clarity brand fit and light edits as needed.
Define and uphold voice tone and messaging guidelines; review and refine copy to ensure consistency and brand alignment across all brands.
Mentor and provide editorial guidance to a junior copywriter to elevate quality speed and impact.
Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure content is discoverable and aligned with search intent without sacrificing clarity or conversion.
Work within our CMS to upload and format content for publication.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high bar for accuracy and effectiveness.

High School diploma required
Qualifications:

4 years of professional copywriting experience with a focus on ecommerce advertising or performance marketing required.
Portfolio demonstrating persuasive copy that drives measurable outcomes (e.g. higher CTR CVR or engagement) required.
Experience planning and iterating A/B tests with the ability to form hypotheses and interpret results to guide copy decisions.
Ability to translate complex product features and value propositions into simple customer-focused messaging.
Comfortable reading and lightly editing market commentary; experience in finance or precious metals is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO principles and conversion best practices.
Basic proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and ability to learn proprietary systems.
Comfortable working with Excel and within structured production workflows.
Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA Confluence) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
Meticulous attention to detail excellent grammar and a track record of delivering on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
