About the Role

Are you a highly experienced Business Analyst or Requirements Specialist looking to take the next step into Product Ownership Do you have 7 years of hands-on experience translating client requests into clear actionable specifications for software development teams and are now ready to step up into a product owner role

Input 1 is looking for a Software Product Owner (Operations)to join our team and help drive the successful delivery of client-requested software enhancements. This role is ideal for someone with 13 years of experience in a Product Owner rolewho has mastered requirements gatheringand is ready to own solutions not just document them.

Our clients come to us with well-defined requests but this isnt just a copy-and-paste job. Youll be responsible for understanding what they truly need evaluating how best to achieve their goals and working with internal teams to deliver efficient scalable solutions.

What Youll Do

• Serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders clients and development teams

• Translate client requests into clear thoughtful and effective system enhancements specifications

• Think critically about each request to propose the best system solution not just the requested change

• Prioritize features based on business impact and available resources

• Collaborate with Developers QA and SBAs throughout the software development lifecycle

• Participate in hands on testing and ensure features meet business needs and technical requirements

• Monitor post-release performance and suggest improvements when needed

• Develop subject matter expertise in our operational systems and premium finance industry

• 7 years of experience gathering and documenting business functional and technical requirements for software products

• 13 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role where you influenced product delivery

• Proven ability to analyze requests and define optimal solutionsnot just document whats asked

• Experience working with SaaS or enterprise-level platforms in cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence Postman MS Word and Excel

• Insurance premium finance or financial services knowledge is a plus

Salary Range:$85000 $120000 per year- final compensation will be based on how closely your experience aligns with the role (typically near the midpoint for candidates matching our requirement) your location and internal equity.
