Connects staff to our CHI heritage and legacy reframing todays experience in light of the Gospel message of Jesus Christs healing ministry and by facilitating theological reflection in uncertain times. Weave fresh insights with implications for strategic development to help facilitate organizational effectiveness in mission. Supports and Provides ongoing formation for continued development of mission integration in the workplace. Expected to do daily patient rounding work with interdisciplinary rounds do spiritual assessments and chart their activities. They are familiar with the Ethical and Religious Directives for CHI St. Lukes Facilities. They Assist in building community through affirming
others contributions celebrating gifts milestones and accomplishments in an effort to network relationships that heal.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assess mission and spiritual care staffing based on the needs of the hospital employees and patients by working with hospital administration and leaders
2. Promote development and awareness of mission and spiritual support to increase patient satisfaction and coordinate trainings for other departments for spiritual issues in healthcare
3. Responsible for Strategic Planning for the Spiritual Care department within assigned hospital and greater community
4. Ability to lead change management in a collaborative manner
5. Ability to staff develop and coach team
for being a good steward in all aspects of the business.

Required Education & Experience:
*Masters Degree or equivalent experience is required
*Minimum of 2 years of experience with a Masters Degree or 8 years of experience with a Bachelors degree is required
*Two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral Education
*Two (2) years experience in health care setting
Minimum required knowledge Skills Abilities & Training:
Working knowledge of Ethical Religious Directives traditional and ethical traditions of the Catholic Church
