Job Description

Grade: Full-Time Non-Exempt

Location: Brookings SD

Supervisor: Market President

Workdays/Hrs: Monday - Friday (8am-5:00pm)

Saturday (rotation 8am 11am)

About the Role:

The CSR Supervisor plays a pivotal role in both customer service and branch leadership. This position combines frontline customer service responsibilities with team oversight to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experiences. This position is ideal for someone who leads by example thrives in a hands-on role and is passionate about delivering friendly accurate service in a community-focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

CSR Responsibilities

  • Perform all teller transactions including deposits withdrawals check cashing loan payments and account inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.
  • Balance personal cash drawer daily and maintain transaction accuracy within established limits.
  • Assist with vault management cash orders ATM balancing and dual control responsibilities.
  • Identify customer needs and refer products or services to appropriate bank staff.
  • Uphold strong knowledge of bank products policies and procedures to serve customers efficiently.



Supervisory Duties

  • Supervise daily teller operations ensuring smooth workflow proper staffing and excellent customer service.
  • Provide training coaching and performance feedback including yearend reviews to CSR team members.
  • Lead by example in appearance professionalism and adherence to policies.
  • Serve as first point of contact for customer service escalations and assist in resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor teller cash levels transaction approvals and override activity to reduce risk and maintain compliance.


Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Enforce security dual control and regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Prepare for and participate in audits and operational reviews.
  • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity or fraud in accordance with bank policy.



Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of teller experience desired; prior experience in a lead or supervisory teller role strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with a team while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational leadership and interpersonal skills.
