PURPOSE:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a team that will coordinate and manage the implementation of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS) for the Client Inclusive Collection portfolio of hotels. This role will be responsible for planning and executing deployments including working with hotel leadership communicating the onboarding process standards and expectations. This role will then collaborate with hotel leadership vendors and corporate teams to develop and manage the project schedule encompassing all system configuration training classes and go-live support. They must work closely with multiple teams to stay aligned with other activities and ensure the successful implementation of Client technology footprint.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain tools and processes to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective interaction with corporate and regional offices to understand transition dates and the schedule of other activities to manage the implementation schedule.
Create manage and convey each projects systems training and onboarding schedule.
Liaise with hotel leadership to determine the number of training rooms needed coordinate with global vendors on resource availability and distribute to all relevant parties (vendors regional office hotel other implementation teams)
Cultivate and maintain a relationship with Hotel vendors that implement and train the systems installed at new hotels. This is accomplished through regular meetings with management from each office to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects and needs.
Design develop and uphold a consistent deployment strategy.
Manage the maintenance of training material.
Manage resources and their day-to-day workloads by proactively identifying and resolving issues that would present a risk.
Implement training and development plans for team members.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Diverse Hotel Management Experience in Operations (4 years)
Experience with client Systems including Opera Cloud CRS and Sales & Revenue (4 years)
Managing projects with multiple waves
Experience in multiple hotels locations or brands
Ability to work across multiple time zones
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Fluency in speaking writing and reading English and Spanish.
EDUCATION:
College degree or equivalent work experience with a major hotel management company.
